Stephen Smith |
Head Coach
Coach Smith is a graduate of Burkburnett, TX (1992) where he was an All-State Quarter Back. He went on to play baseball at Seminole Junior College from 1992-1994.
After Seminole, he played at Southwest Texas State University for two years. While at SWT he set 3 school records. Most saves in a season and career, and most appearances in a year. He was drafted in the 39th round by the Cincinnatti Reds after his senior season.
After one season of professional baseball, coach Smith went back and got his degree from SWT. Since being at Paschal the baseball program has won a district championship in 1998 and been in the playoffs two other times(1999-2000).
Coach Smith has been married for six years to his wife Amy and they have a son named Luke who is 3. |

Darrell Preston |
Varsity Assistant, 1st Base, Hitting, and Infield Coach
Graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a degree in Kinesiology and played there from 2001-2004. All time career record holder at UTA for Hits, RBI’s, at-bats, games played, hits in a game, 2nd in doubles, and Southland Conference record holder in At-bats for career. Louisville Slugger Freshman All American in 2001, First Team All Southland Conference in 2004, Jayhawk League Summer All American 2002 and NBC World Series All American in 2002. Offered out of high school to play for the Chicago White Sox, but turned it down to go to school.
Also Varsity QB Coach for football team and a Special Ed/Inclusion teacher. Coach Preston is married to wife April, and just had his first son Dallas Preston on Aug. 30, 2008. |

Lori Galindo |
Scorekeeper
Lori Galindo first started scorkeeping her sophomore year at St.Paul High School in Norwalk, Ohio.
Bob Lippert handed her the scorebook and told her to figure things out. She was the Varsity
scorekeeper for 3 years until she graduated in 1989.
While attending the University of Pittsburgh, she once again was able to scorekeep while student
teaching for Schenley High School. That was the first and only time she has ever seen a baseball
game played on a turf football field.
She has been keeping the varsity book for Paschal since 2001, but has been attending games, and
helping out since 1998.
Personal: Married to Martin since 2002. 2 children, Isabella and Rafael(born 2 days after being in
Abilene). Favorite baseball team: Cleveland Indians. Favorite baseball movie: Major
League, and favorite players over the years; Cory Snyder, Albie Lopez, Gregg Jefferies,
Lenny Dykstra, and Grady Sizemore. Plus any Paschal graduates of course!!! |
